What is a void-of-course Moon?

The stretch when the Moon has made its last major aspect in a sign and hasn’t yet moved into the next one. Traditionally, things started during this time “don’t develop” — it’s good for resting, finishing and tidying up, but not for starting anything important. It isn’t a whole day but specific hours: the calendar shows them to the minute for the city you choose.

What are lunar days?

The lunar month is divided into 29–30 lunar days. The first begins at the New Moon, and each one after that begins at moonrise — so the times depend on your city. Each lunar day has its own symbol and character.
